Bata Dealer Jyothi Enterprise sold Defective Item

1. Selling a defect and substandard shoe to me. 2. Not providing resolution on the same, even after repeated follow up. The shoe was purchased from Bata Dealer M/s Jyoti Enterprises on Dec.30, 2012, and I was given a bill for it. As per the bill the shoe was under warranty for any defects for 60 days from the date of purchase. However after wearing the shoe for about 1 ½ months, the shoe’s sole was found broken in both pairs. On Feb.17, 2013 I took the shoe to the dealer who refused to replace or rectify the defect. I then wrote to Bata customer service on Feb.18, 2013 informing about the same with all the details, they replied on the same day for details which I furnish again on Feb.19.2013. Since then I have followed up with the customer service of Bata with no resolution. On Mar. 4 at approx 1757 hrs, I spoke to a supervisor at Bata customer service Mr. Ashish Dhingra who promised me a resolution in 48 hrs. Yet no action or response has been received from Bata

1. Replacement of the shoe 2. INR 5000/- compensation for not keeping the promise and delayed resolution.
