Dear Sir I had applied for a new LPG gas connection with Apex Gas Service (110851) which is located in Santacruz East. First of all, I had to visit the distributor point at least 6 times to get the connection approved. Every-time I went to the distributor house I was told to get one other set of documents. Finally when after 6 visits I was able to get the connection approved, I am being told that it is compulsory to buy hot plate and other accessories if I want the connection. I already have a hot plate/ gas chulha it would be utter waste of money for me.

However as per the FAQs on Bharat gas website, it is clearly mentioned that it is not mandatory to buy hot plates. Link: http://www.ebharatgas.com/pages/FAQ/FAQ_whatislpg.html#connection. Need your help/ intervention to get this sorted and put a penalty on the distributor for going against the norms/rules. 8818XX0500
