Hi, I applied for new gas connection with Bharat gas online. KYC number is :5671417. I was asked to submit the document to bharat gas Agency, Jaipur for release of connection. I submitted the document on 20th september. They mentioned you need to buy the hotplate which is costing around 2500.oo extra with the new gas connection and we can release your gas connection immidiatly. The total cost they mention was 5000 Rs. However they mentioned if you dont want to buy the hotplate our mechanic could come to your palce to check your hotplate and once we check if it is ISI mark then we will release the connection. It will take us 1 week to vairfy the ISI mark hotplate. Today it is 24th October and they have not verified it. I have visited the office around 6-7 times and every time they say it will be done in next 24 hours. They are just harrasing a consumer who is not willing to buy a hotplate from them which will cost Rs 2500 extra. Also the quality of the htoplate does not worth Rs 2500.00. In my opinion its another way of forcing a consumer to buy a hot plate even when it is not required. I have dropped several mails to bharat gas complain box but no action has been taken on that as well. Kindly take action as soon as possible.
