January 13th 2014. Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to inform you that, had applied for new domestic LPG (Bharat Gas) connection to my nearest Bharat Gas distributor i.e. M/S. NEEL JYOTI (Distributor Code # 131346) at 415, Barackpur Road, Salbagan, Barasat, 24 Parganas (North), Kolkata, West Bengal-700125, Tel. # (033) 25427297, (033) 25425201 & (033) 69945430, on 22nd October 2013. After waiting as long as near about 3 months, on yesterday i.e. 11/01/14, after getting a call from the said distributor, today, on January 12th 2014, I went to the distributors office, for depositing cash for new connection, but the concerned person of NEEL JYOTI charged me Totally Rs 7285.00, (including EXTRA of Rs 4235.00 for some extra accessories items, of which is not suitable for me), for double cylinder. Usually as per SV documents the total charges for double cylinder is Rs. 3050.00. They forcefully sold me Hot plate at Rs. 2450.00, Fry Pan at Rs. 745.00, LPG Hose at Rs. 170.00, Lighter at Rs. 180.00, Cylinder Trolley at Rs. 250.00, Incense Stick (Dhup Kathi) at Rs. 340.00, Installation Charges at Rs. 50.00, and Blue Book at Rs. 50.00. Not only that, also, I have been paid forcefully more than MRP for Blue Book and Incense Stick (Dhup Kathi). Moreover, they did not supply me Cylinder Trolley due to shortage of their stock, (told me to contact after 15 days), but charges me in advance for the same. When I protest for this, they told me without these products, new connection will not be providing to me in any ways. After request, they had issued a CASH MEMO for extra items of Rs 4235.00, but without any serial number, where they sold some items on MRP, i.e. including tax and some items more than MRP. So, I request you, please look in to the matter as serious and try to REFUND me the excess paid amount of Rs 4235.00. My details are given below for your information;- ? Consumer No – 62234467. ?
