I bought an i-phone 4 from a spice retail shop in mayur vuhar, phase 1, acharya niketan market, new delhi. The purchase was done on march 21, 2013. the phone did not work and when i took it to the i-phone store the next day in Noida, they showed me that the IMEI number mentioned on the packet was different from that on the phone.

I will proviode the details as soon as i reach home. The retail shopkeepers are reluctant to say anyting. No senior guy has come and spoke to us over the phone.

I want this matter to be probed and sorted out at the earliest. This might be a case of illegal trafficking of i-phones in India. I am also taking this matter to the legal authorities who look in matters like these.

An FIR would be the first thing that I will be filing in the Mayur Vihar police station saturday morning.

I seek immediate attention of a senior authority to look into the matter and solve this immediately. In case a criminal case is found out later, it will be duly taken to the law enforcement authorities.
