I had applied for broadband plan change from HUL 625 to HUL 950, which is a 4mbps plan around June 11th. However, till date, the speed has not changed from around 1.5 mbps. My BSNL customer ID is 4000695325. I have been contacting the BSNL customer care almost everyday for the past one week. The customer care people are booking complaints, but are sometimes closing them for no apparent reason. They are taking ages to send the technical people to examine the problem. They have finally sent one person last friday, but he was not able to fix the problem. Subsequently, when I was contacting the customer care people, they always tell that a lineman would come to resolve the issue, but till now for the last 4 days.
I had applied the plan change as I wanted to do office work remotely – I am not able to go to office due to health reasons. However, as the speed was not changed, I was not able to work. It has also cost me office hours as I have been waiting for the line men to turn up at my house. To this end, I have lost at least 1500 Rs.
As the speed has not been increased, I do not want to pay the new broadband charges.Further, I want will pay the new broadband charges only after I get reasonable speed as per the new plan.
