BSNL EVDO is not working most of the times

I purchased BSNL EVDO around half a month back.
For first two days it worked well, but after few days the device started giving errors like —
1. When I start the computer the device gets connected since it is in ” Connect on Startup “mode.But when I disconnect it and close the zte data terminal, it shows floating point support error.
2. This is the worst experience one can get– the device shows connectivity and sufficient range but when we try to access any website it says the page can not be displayed.

Earlier I thought there might be a problem with the device so i went to the bsnl office and found that it was working well,(I guess the tower was nearby) but when i brought it back it shows same problems.

BSNL claims to get speed upto 2 mbps, wheras the upload / download speed is not even crossing 5kbps.

I request the corresponding officials to do me the needful.
