Builder – Agreement canclled ,Cheque dishonour , refund my money

Dear sir,details as follows – Residential plot near Bhanwargarh/Betma purchased in Sep 10 with agreement of develoment of facilities like road, sewage, wall etc within 02 yrs – Anyhrow developer could neither get approval from DTCP nor developed the facilities till May 2013. Consequently agreement cancelled by both parties in May 13 – In return, developer issued 03 in no. post-dated cheques amounting Rs. 3.5 lacs. Only 1 cheque of Rs one lac got cleared and remaininng 02 cheques got dishonoured by the bank due to insufficient funds in the account. – Subsequently I issued him legal notice and gave 15 days for payment. – Despite regular calls and telephonic reminders, developer showing unwillingness to make payment…During last 3 yrs, I had to make 7-8 special visits to indore to check the status of plot development. In addition to the Principal amount of 1.92 lacs, I had to incur additional charges on travel, leave, accommodation, phone calls etc. Its a criminal breach of trust.

double of the amount of cheque e.g 05 lacs(cheque amount 2.5 lacs)
