I have a policy from METLIFE the policy number is 20345669, i received a call from a person called Ankit,from 0120-4849414 and 0120-6517484; stating that the Metlife has declared bonus, we will send across the bonus amount, we need to do some documentation and asked my address and date of birth for verification. I thought it is genuine and provided these genuinely. He also asked me for the bank account number, for which i refused to provide, he said, i need to pay Rs3000/- for bank documentation work to process the bonus amount. I got calls from mobile number – +919353048902, +919538591577; he stated that he is from blue dart courier and said that some metlife company guys have asked me to handover couple of documentation work. I am getting suspicious, and called Metlife Bangalore branch and spoke to the grievance officer Mr. Srinivasan He had told me not to entertain such calls and mail this to india service, hence doing the same.
