Carrier AC – Harrasment at it best

First of all I would like to thank the carrier team for finally ensuring highest level of harassment. It is not about the satisfaction from the performance but the quality of the product which is below the industry benchmark and has ensured that I have enough sleepless nights. I had bought 2 Carrier Durakool Air conditioners from the Distributor AC World on 05 may 2011 contemplating the carrier makes one of the best air conditioners but soon my dreams were dashed and I was forced to face the hard reality of faulty products being sold to the customers. Right after the installation of the air conditioner it started giving troubles which were reported to the distributor and the same were resolved as an when reported. I had requested for the replacement which was denied stating that these are normal problems which do occur. After the initial warranty of the product expired I was directed to approach the customer care directly as the same was not be taken care by the Distributor. Again the Ac developed some problem in May which was reported and the technician after inspection told that the gas of the Ac has to be refilled (Not even 2 years of the Ac completed). The needful was done and I was charged Rs 2150 for the same by AB Enterprises – Authorised vendor of Carrier vide bill no 358 dated 07/05/2013. Post instllation also the AC was troubling for cooling again which was promptly replied that Ac itni hi cooling karta gain. Again the AC stopped cooling on 05/08/2013 but the same was reported to the customer care on 11/08/2013 as non one is available in the working days. Again the technician visitng told that all the charges have to be paid again as the last Gas recharging was done 93 days back and we provide guarantee for 90 days. (The repairs carried out could not even last for a single season). The workmanship of the vendor is questionable as this kind of service standards are not as per the industry benchmarks. Further on enquiring about the AMC charges of the AC he updated that AMC is not available for carrier AC which is available for the leading brands across the country. I feel cheated after spending so much of amount on purchasing a branded product like this. I have been undergoing this harassment for long now and am contemplating for proceeding for legal remedial measures for the faulty product sold to me and would also include sustained campaigns in social media to fight for my right as a customer. I have spent close to 40 Thousand of my hard earned money for buying this AC which gives me discomfort rather then facilitating my daily routine. Would request your revert on each of the raised issues with resolutions.

Repair of the Ac without the charges to be paid again by me as the quality of workmanship is below the industry parameters. Replacement/Refund against the faulty unit supplied to me by Carrier.
