I had my mobile no “9829670112”. I received a message from Airtel “Ab aap Kar sakte hai US calls matra Rs 2.25 prati min ki dar se poore 30 dino tak. Is suvidha ke liye aapko koi shulk nahi lagega.” on 31-Mar-2010 from Message Centre +919829003333. I made a call on 22-April-2010 to US, and unfortunately i charged Rs 19.20 for 3 minutes. I had a talk with senior executive of Airtel “Mr. Mayaram” about this problem, he accept that the Message centre no is of Airtel but he told that there is no such scheme, and he is not ready to accept that there is any such message sent from airtel to you. I had the message saved in my mobile with me. and you will be charged at Rs. 6.40 only. when i told him that i had to go to consumer court he told “you can go anywhere you want, but you will be charged the same.”
