Cheating by HDFC Bank

I have bought one time investment plan (Single Premium) of Rs. 1 lac from HDFC Bank, Neelam Chowk Branch on 27 Feb 2009. But, I was surprised to note that they have issue me a plan which was not one time but regular premium plan. But when I came to know about this, the lookup period of the policy was over (as i was out of station). I have requested them to cancel this policy and issue a new one but hey have denied. I have approached Ombudsman of Banking then Mr. Kartik Goel of Branch Manager,HDFC Bank Neelam Chowk sent me a commitment letter that we will cancel this policy and return your money. He called me up and said no point going to Ombudsman for hearing when we are ready to return your money. Now after 7 months of their commitment they did not return my money and said this policy is of HDFC-Standard Life and they are not agreeing to return the money. I have 2 points:
1) I never visited HDFC-Standard Life to purchase investment plan, i bought that plan from HDFC Bank.
2) I did not went for my case hearing since HDFC has given the commitment and due to my absence my case has been decided ex-party in office of Ombudsman.
3) Both HDFC and HDFC-Standard Life representatives have made a fool proof plan and given false commitment so that I do not attend the case. They have cheated me and ombudsman also.
