We have purchased a valuable cloth on 12/07/2013 for stitching a frock. The bill number is SVS000028. We found a noticeable damage after stitching it. On 15/07/2013 we went to the SriValli silks for replacement. They have refused to replace or repair the damaged part of cloth. Upon my several requests the merchant agreed to repair the damaged part with nominal fee. They promised to deliver it on 16/07/2013. I made many visits to the shop, still they did not take care to repair. After few days they have returned the frock without correcting it. The merchant warned me not to visit any more.
The cost of amount paid for the cloth, stitching charges and travel cost are direct expenses around Rs. 922. For mental agony, wasting of my valuable time and disturbance caused to the birthday function cost me a lot. So to penalize the merchant demanding Rs. 5000.
