Below is the letter sent to the service centre, but no response, they are still asking for more money.
””’In the month of September 2009, I brought my laptop with serial no. 2CE6440TMS to your Ludhiana branch. My laptop was out of warranty period and was having display problem. After diagnosis i was told that it had faulty nvidia chip which need to be replaced and i was charged rs.5500 and given a warranty of 1 month. On your website the warranty for repair has been stated as 3 months.
The problem arised again after 1.5 months, so i came back to your ludhiana branch. Now i was told the warranty was only for 1 month, even after arguing for that warranty stated on the website is 3 months, i was charged another rs.2000 for the faulty nvidia chip.
Again after 2 months the problem came back again, this time i was advised to replace the motherboard which would cost around rs.8000- rs.9000.
Why was i not advised to replace the motherboard at first place. Also, the Nvidi chip was repaired for different prices bothe times. If motherboard costs rs.8000, how can repair or replacemet costs Rs.7500. I have paid rs.7500 and my laptop’s display is still not working.
I complaint for it and even my repeated requests for a replacement have fallen on deaf ears. A copy of the same letter has been sent to your corporate office in Chennai through registered post.
And now I am tired of it, therefore request you to kindly take an appropriate action or i will be forced to got to Consumer court to file a suit against your company.
