Sir, This is to inform you about a biggest fraud run by Country Vacations/ Country Club. I become a member of country vacations on 22/10/12 in Pune (MH). Following commitments are made by sales team of Country vacations: 1. Five years holiday along with club event membership. 2. Total cost will be INR 50,000/-. 3. There will be no AMC charges if I take the membership on my wife’s name. Explanation for this was ‘she is a housewife’. 4. I can attend any club event from the next day after taking membership event list will be available on my account section. 5. I will receive membership card within 45-60 days. 6. All the details about my membership will be available under my account section of website. 7. If country club failed or not able to meet the commitment made by the sales team, I will be free to withdraw my membership anytime. As offer made by them looks attractive to me, so I purchased it in my wife’s name and paid INR 50,000/- (15,000/- by debit card remaining 35,000/- by credit card). Real fraud started from here: Next day I received a call from Hyderabad customer care office for confirmation. I requested them to check the AMC details they told me you need to pay the amount 6,000/- per year to avail the holiday. After that I tried several options of communication to get the explanations about all this point, but no answer received. (Please check attached copy of E-mail sent by me). Finally I decided to withdraw the membership on 19/11/12. I went to Country vacations office in pune talked with a manager. He told me give a hand written application for the cancellation of membership due to personal reason told me you will get confirmation about cancellation through E-mail. Since that day I am calling him every alternate day he is giving me XYZ excuse. This membership I had taken to spend good time with my family, not to get headache. INR 50,000/- is a huge amount for me. Please help me to get my INR 50,000/- take some strict action against Country Vacations/Club for making people fool with wrong commitments.
