I have taken a membership of your company on 18-04-2014 for Rs. 85,000/- bearing Membership No. CVCH5CLUB5LB173672 after falling prey to the false promises made by your company’s executives. I had taken the membership of the company because sales team had informed me about the various offers that I could avail by becoming a member but the same have not been mentioned anywhere in the written contract entered into between company and I. 1. During our in person discussion, the executive of this company had communicated that the membership holiday entitlement is for a lifetime (renewed after 5 years and no fees to be payable during the renewal other than some documentary charges not more than Rs. 1,000/- but in the email, it is mentioned that it is only for 5 years and ends on April 19, 2019. 2. It was mentioned that, the membership fee is Rs. 85,000/-, however, in the welcome kit email it is mentioned Rs. 95,000/-. 3. It was mentioned that the package is for 14 days every year with the complementary offer of additional 7 days for the first year (in total 21 days for first year and 14 days from second year onwards). The email says the membership fee is only for six night and seven days. 4. It was mentioned that the holiday entitlement is for four adults, however, according to the email it is for two adults only. 5. It was mentioned that the cost will include the dining (breakfast, lunch and dinner) of the all four adults but the email does not mention anything about the same. 6. It was mentioned that the annual maintenance fee is Rs. 7500/- payable from second year onwards and it is applicable only if we plan to have vacation in the year. The email mentions that it is mandatory to pay the annual maintenance charges irrespective of any vacation plan for the year. 7. It was also mentioned that the annual maintenance charge is applicable for pro-rata basis. The email has not mentioned anything about this and mentioned that the annual maintenance charges are mandatory.
It was also mentioned that package ‘Blue’ means the vacations time as per my needs and wish and the period is January to December, however, the booklet provided says ‘Blue’ means off-peak seasons, which is again a conflicting with their words. 9. I have even raised my doubts on all those points during our in-person discussion with the sales personnel however, he went ahead and confirmed that the Country Club vacation is celebrating 25 years of services and therefore, these offer are being given to only 116 selected families and I am one of the lucky family to get these offers. 10. He had gone to the extent of saying that I can even rent my holiday package back to County Club itself, in case I am not willing to have vacation for a year. In return, the cash benefit of INR 20,000/- to 30,000/- shall be provided to me for that year. 11. he have also promised us to get the health insurance coverage of 6 lakh from HDFC Insurance, Which also has not been delivered to us so far.
I want to cancel the membership with this company and want my money (INR 85000/-)back.
