I hold HSBC credit card number 4384 5999 8373 2321.
HSBC promised free credit card but inspite that annual charges were levied in the second year. When I pointed this out, they reversed the charges. However, in the third year they again levied the charges. I asked the customer care to cancel the card, however, they didn’t do it. I didn’t use the credit card at all in the third year as I assumed it would have been cancelled. Now, they have cancelled the card, but still they have sent an amount of around Rs. 5500 as annual fees to be collected by the collection team.
This is a very bad practice by HSBC bank. I hold platinum and titanium cards from Citibank and ICICI bank but never faced the problem. This damages teh whole brand of HSBC. If they are doing it with a premium segment customer for petty charges, then what happens to a normal customer.
Please look into this as soon as possible.
