ON 4th October’13, I was travelling by my car Maruti Dzire no CG 07 LP 9560 from Nehru Nagar to Sec 6. As the rail crossing was closed I decided to go via the underbridge before Supela. There was darkness under the bridge and as it had not rained more than a few drops in many days, I could not imagine that there was one metre of standing-still water there. My car was submerged. I have suffered damages of over Rs 20,000/- apart from incalculable mental trauma. There was no marking or road diversion of any sort which could have warned me. I need to know which department will compensate this amount.

A minimum of Rs 20,000/- as refund of direct/indirect expenses.
