I have booked Aakash tab (a project sponsored by the Indian Government, Ministry of Human Resource Development)in the month of June 2012 and was given booking ID PM5C37464598. I have got a mail from them saying if I decide to make the payment in advance they will prioritized my delivery of Ubislate7+ by June-end 2012, along with free shipping. The payment was made through my cheque no. 428714 dt. 11-June-2012 amount Rs.2999, drawn on ICICI bank which was cashed by them on 20th June, 2012. Payment has been acknowledged by them by email. Till 15th of July, 2012 I did not get the product. On 18th July, 2012 I sent an email to them that I did not want the product and requested for a refund. I got a reply from their end on 17th August, 2012 apologizing for the delay in delivery and stating my order was in-process. If I still required a refund, they asked my bank detaisl to process the same. I sent one more email to them on 3rd October, 2012 stating I didn’t receive the product. They sent a reply to me stating the due to unforeseen reasons device deliveries were not as per schedule and I’ll get ubislate 7+ in November. On 28th November, 2012 I replied to them that I was let down by their service and wished to cancel my order and asked them for a refund. I didn’t receive any mail from DataWind after that. I sent reminder emails on 18th December, 2012 and 20th December, 2012. I also sent them an email again today. They have stopped replying to my emails.
