Denial of Service against membership by Fit N Fine, Salt Lake Parlor

I was a member of a beauty parlor cum gym called Personality at City Center, Salt Lake, against which I deposited an amount of 10000/- which enabled me to use their services at a discounted rate & service charges get debited from 10K & the balance remains. I was out of country from Feb. till April 2010. After I returned in May, I found that an ownership change has taken place from Personality to Fit N Fine (Shop No. D 305). I was welcomed by them & one of their representative explained that as a good gesture to Personality client I can continue to use services against the membership at the new rate chart of Fit N Fine till the month of July 2010 & If I am satisfied with their service I can think of being a member of Fit N Fine. I agreed to their proposal & continued taking their service in which case the service charges get debited from the balance amount. But everytime I visit their parlor I find a new person sitting at the reception & I hav to explain the entire arrangement that happened regarding this membership. On 24th July I made a prior appointment in the evening & when I visited the parlor, again found a new person at the reception. When I told him about the service charge to be deducted from the balance amount, this person asked me in a very negative tone as to what kind of membership. I had to again explain him & he said that I have to wait until he confirms by calling someone. All this while his attitude was as if I had come to beg from him. I expressed my displeasure as to why a customer has to everytime wait & explain this issue, they should be having an internal record. Against this the person told me in Hindi whether they should hang a picture of mine on the wall…!!!..I was completely shocked at his comment & told him he should not talk to a customer in such offensive language & that I would like to talk to the person who had talked me into this proposal. This person told me outright that I cannot talk to anyone & denied any service to me. When I asked about the balance amount in my membership, he said that was given to Personality hence go & ask them! Not only that he went up from his chair & showed me out of the door. I wanted to see the owner & he said he is the owner & he doesn’t care what I do or where I report to. He was shouting on top of his voice & insulted me to no end. I immediately reported this to City Center Helpdesk where a lady called Meha promised me that she is going to talk to the Mall Manager & revert on 25th July i.e. Sunday.
I am not bothered about the petty amount left with this people but I would like to reach the appropriate forum who would take necessary action against fraudulent people like these. There might be lot of other customers whose money they had confiscated, which might not be as small as mine. The authority should take action against these deceitful people.
