Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I have registered for DND Ref No. W1000172498 and I received the confirmation from Airtel on 15th Sept 2007 for the same.

But, these promotional calls and SMS s have never stopped to my mobile and I have been receiving these promotional calls and SMS’s even now.

I have reported to your office before about these promotional calls from banks and other organizations and I am not sure, whether you (Airtel) have taken any action on the same or not. But unfortunately, till now I have been receiving calls continuously every day from Barclays, ICICI, HSBC and many other banks and other organisations and also many SMS’s for promotion of various things like tourism, medical and other items.

I have registered for DND, so that I will not be disturbed for these promotional calls/messages from banks and other companies. It is too much disturbing for me to receive these calls even now after almost 10months of registering for DND.

The most worst thing is that to receive the promotional calls from Airtel itself, with whom I got DND registered. It clearly indicates that you(Airtel) are not at all taking any responsibility to maintain these NDNC registry and I am sure that you(Airtel) have not taken any kind action to avoid to receive these promotional calls and messages (SMS) to my mobile from other companies. Sofar, I have received many calls from Airtel for promotion of land line, broadband connection and more mobile phone connections. Your AIRTEL company itself is not able to maintain this DND record and how can you expect the other companies to take care of this NDNC and DO NOT DISTURB us.

I look forward for your prompt action and the compensation for the same.

I request you again to ensure that I will not receive any promotional calls/messages on my mobile from now onwards.
