Dear Sirs,

I registered for DND service for my prepaid mobile no. 9871057724 through customer care of Airtel about 7 months back. After that I travelled overseas and came back few days back only to realise that the annoying promotional calls and sms are still being sent to my number. Which means the servoce was either not activated or is not being effective.

Also I never subscribed for caller tunes and radio service for my mobile no. but have recently received sms from airtel that the caller tunes service and radio service will be renwed in 3 days and will cost me Rs. 30 per month. This is pure cheating – activating the service on their own and then charging the customer for something he never asked for.

I hope something will be done soon to stop all this. Would appreciate feedback and the details of the action taken.
