My mother sent a package vide consignment# Z09160666 on 13-Dec-2013 from Kota, Rajasthan to Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh which has not been delivered to me at Hyderabad as on today i.e. 27-Dec-2013 7:45PM. My repeated attempt to get status by email, phone, SMS or personal visit to their Balanagar, Hyderabad branch has not resulted in any outcome. They are not responding to my emails, not lifting my phone calls, not replying to SMS as well as standard response when I went to their office on 23-Dec-2013 saying they will get back to me. After that that they are not picking my calls also. Their online tracking system shows package to be in transit at Hyderabad since 17-Dec-2013 which they have not delivered for last 10 days. This package contains 2 new sweaters worth 1500/- for my 4 year old daughter, 1 short for my 10 year old worth 800/-, Dividend cheque worth about 800/- and some other important documents. My mother is 68 years old and is not much educated and unfortunately she did not keep any copies of these documents with her assuming she is sending with a premium courier service by paying 180/- so it will surely reach the destination. Now DTDC is not providing any update on the status of this package nor they are committing to deliver it nor they are admitting they have lost it. Due to their non response I am left in lurch.

I would like to seek compensation of 5000/- including 1500+800+800+180=3280/- towards material costs.
