Eureka Forbes – facing smell from the purified water

My customer code is 1002888140/1064. I have been using Eureka Forbes’ Aquagard Innova for past 8 years and I have been renewing their Annual Maintenance Contract regularly. For the past 6 months, I started facing smell from the purified water. Even after multiple cleaning sessions, the situation did not improve. Once again, the service personnel came and did the cleaning. I suspect that he added some chemical to the “Miracle” chamber. Since then, the water started having smell as if some oil is added to it. I, again registered a service request and asked him to bypass the miracle. Now, the service personnel added some chemical to the filtering cylinders. The situation is now even worse, the water has strong smell of an acid. On calling up their customer care, 1st call, I was told that it is just a cleaning powder and it is not harmful, 2nd call, its bromine powder, 3rd call to the Pune service head, it is citric acid. They are feeding unnecessary and harmful chemical to consumers without even informing them.

Complete change of the purifier as I can’t use any of its parts after additional of harmful chemicals.
