Eureka Forbes – filtration was not happening properly

I had bought an Eureka Forbes Aquasure Xtra Tuff 16litres filter on 11th April 2014 from retail shop ‘National Steel Emporium, Bhawani Nagar, Marol Maroshi Rd, Andheri-E, Mumbai. The proudct has a 6 month warranty period. After few days of use, we realized that the water filtration was not happening properly. Hence we called up Eureka Forbes Customer care around 1st May 2014 & registered 2 complaints with nos 76095723 & 89557270. The technician arrived couple of days later, & mentioned that the washer of the machine was missing, & hence the filter was not getting fixed properly, thus the inappropiate filtration. He said that he’ll be back in a day with the appropiate washer & affix the same. However, it has been almost 20days since, & he has not returned. We tried to reach him on the phone only to get the answer that the item was not available. I tried complaining in the helpline number against this callous attitude, & was supposedly given the number of the after sales service head (Prakash Mohan-82860-50776). However, this number proved unreachable. I called up the retail shop, & they mentioned that I needed to contact Eureka Forbes customer care,or bring the product to them so that they could analyze if any part was missing. All this has caused harassment to me for the last 20 days, & I have had to buy water from outside despite paying INR 1800 for this machine only a month ago. Request your urgent help in this matter

Immediate replacement of machine or affixment of missing washer.
