I had purchased a TCL Split one ton A/C model no. TAC 12 CS/R on 24-04-2006 from M/s A. R. Electronics, Chinthamani, Trichy via bill no 80.
We had a re-occurring problem and decided to call the service centre of TCL Company.
Mr. M.Vijaya kumar from the local TCL service centre (Service Point, C-163, 9th A cross, Thillai nagar, Trichy) attended our call on 13th June 2009 to rectify the A/C and found that the compressor has to be replaced. He had collected the warranty card and bill Photostats copies on the same day.
I dropped the out-door unit myself in my car to the service point, the service centre of Mr. Vijay Kumar. One of Mr. Vijay Kumar’s staff (Mr. Karthik) accompanied me and I have paid Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) for attending our call.
We are yet to receive the receipt for the above paid fee or a job card.
We were always told that the compressor would be sent to Mumbai for replacement and once it arrives in Trichy, then they would be able to fix it.
Now the big question is how long is it going to take for the replacement process to complete? Since it has been more than a month now and still we have not received any response from the concerned people. All our calls and emails are in vain and no satisfying reply has come from them.
The heat wave has been in its heights and we are very much in need of a A/C. Our school going children are suffering like anything. We pray for all those concerned on this matter to help us.
