I had signed a purchase contract with Southern Roofings Chennai to establish a metal Shed on the 2nd floor of my residence on the 7th of April 2010. An advance of Rs 200,000 was paid the same day and the GM project promised to complete the work within 15 to 20 days time. The purchase order however stated the total leadtime would be 25 to 30 days. Its now over 40 days and they have not even got the skeletal structure in place. The coloumns and trusses were fabricated after I took up the matter seriously with their MD and subsequently the workers left our premises on 7th of May with a promise that they will return to work within 3 days… later the GM projects promised work will resume on 16th May. The roof on the stairway had to be removed and its now open for the last 20 days. The GM Projects and the Chief Marketing Executive of Southern Roofings donot seem to have any commitment and are only lying to me all the time. Can someone pls help get my work completed as quickly as possible. Thank you.
