Respected Sir,

I Purchased a handset model P1i from Sony Ericsson for 17400 Rs. Since the very first day the phone is giving me problems. I got it tepaired two times from the authorised Sony Service center but every time they give it back to me with more problems then before. When i asked them to replace the handset once for all, they flatly refused to do so. I asked them to provide me in written that the handset will not give me any problems but they refuse to do so. Moreover, they havent replied to last few mails also.

After getting frustrated, i am bringing the situation to your notice so that i can get my grievence solved.

Below is the last E-mail which i wrote to Sony Ericsson.

Dear Mr Eecutive,

I am writiting this final email to highlight the extreme deficiency prevailing in your organisation….

To start of, i purchased the Sony ericsson handset on 23rd August 2008 from the “Mobile Store” outlet in sector 15 faridabad. Since then till two months back, my handset never provide any reason to cherish. There were numerous problems in it which i will list below in the mail. Finally one morning it stopped to function completely ans i was not able to have it started…this was happpened on 21st April. I submited it on 22nd of April to your authorised service center “Fortune mobile Service” behind Neelam Cinema in Faridabad. They changed the motherboard and ask me to collect it. I used it for couple of days and it was confirmed that the repairs you people carried out on was not of a ny quality as the entire range of problems were stiill intact in it.

I again submitted it to the serive center on 11th of May jobsheet for which is attached below. Finally i got the handset again at the month end and to my utter dismay entire range of problems were still there in fact there were two new problems in the handset apart from the existing one.. I talked to your customer care and they ask me to resubmit it again which i duly did on 4th of June.

Since 4th June i have had numerous conversations with your executive but still there is no solution is in sight…..

I am simply frustrated by your gimmicks now. This is not what i have expected nafter shelling out 18000 bucks. Now i just want this handset to be replaced as i have lost all faith in your repairs that to by this weekend otherwise i will be forced to approach some appropriate tribunal. I would also like top inform you that i am considering all this thing as delaying tactics from your end as every time some new person answer the call and i have to start updating him on details all over again.

The problems in the handset as of now.

Frequent Hang and Freeze Problem.Switch off function does not work after the phone is on for few
hours. So I have to take out the battery and then switch on the phone once.
While clicking the pictures,camera is showing an error message “Image is not captured properly”.
Also the image quality is not up to the mark i.e. now very grainy and hazy.
I have not able to receive or make call after one hour of the phone getting restarted.
Same is the case with the messages.
When I set alarm for a particular time, handset gets switched off just 1 or 2 minutes before the time set in the alarm.
Automatically getting restarted at any times without any warning. So that means the session gets terminated.
Power consumption of the handset is increased tremendously.
Repairs already carried out on my handset:
Entire motherboard has been changed.
Speaker and scroller has been changed.Software has been upgraded.
So many other petty things which I am not aware off.
Some of the details for the handset are mentioned below.

Original IMEI Number: 357033018392332
Current IMEI number as the mother board was changed when i submitted it first to the service center: 357033010269694

Aprat from this i am attaching two jobsheets, invoice of the phone and also the communication that i had with you guys uptill now…

Please be informed that i am not going to settle for anything less than the replacement of the handset…..
