I had booked an 2 BHK admeasuring saleable area 910 sq.ft. in Feb-2010 and paid Rs.20 Lacs to the builder as per his demand. At that point of time construction activity was not started. Whenever I used to inquire about the same he use to give me some or other story & buy time. On 100 different occasions whenever I went at their site office I never use to see any concrete development from the time we booked the flat. 2010 went off and similarly 2011 also went off wherein no construction began. Beginning 2012 we saw some ray of hope & finally construction began. I went & followed up for registration of agreement, on which they started demanding additional payment. I requested since I have to take bank loan I need to get my property registered based on which my loan would be sanctioned but they turned deaf ear on us. I kept on following up with them & they never use to respond on my request apart from sending me demand notice for each & every slab. Time went on passing & finally I lost my patience wherein I started making strong follow-ups with the builder.
To my worst surprise latest few days back they have sent me an cancellation letter for my above said flat.
I can understand the entire logic behind this treatment with the buyer. Ideally, currently the rates have almost doubled as compared to the rate at which I booked. So these guys are trying to play around with this tactics.
I request requisite state authority to take the necessary action Thakkar Builders & Developers and help me getting back my flat ASAP.
