Flipcart – Dealer Cancellation of order – Review

I placed an order for Sony camera lens (order ID- OD40530032555) with Flipkart. There was possible delay in the shipment as per the tracker on their website. So I sent an inquiry via email to the customer service. To which they responded that the dealer has been ordered to ship. Then the following day I received a message that my order has been cancelled. I was upset as I thought it was a great deal and I totally needed the lens for my project the coming weekend. I probed with Flipkart on calls and numerous emails as to why was it cancelled. I’ve been told that the dealer was not able to procure the item. I told them that I’ve been dealing with Flipkart and not any dealer(digiretail). They offered the refund and Rs 500 voucher as goodwill gesture in return. I’m not happy with the entire scenario of Flipkart being so ignorant with the customers. Needless to say that I had to follow up zillion times with them before they could respond, that to with the same explanation. Please see the attached email copy. I’ve checked the flipkart website for cancellations and there are no mention of such cancellation policy.

All I want is that deal which flipkart offered.
