After doing research, I wanted to order 3 products from flipkart – i)Samsung Duos (Rs 9.9K) (ii) Gigaset Landline (Rs. 19K) (iii)Sony Xperia C (Rs 19K). They are not allowing me to buy Sony phone saying “anything more than Rs. 10K cannot be delivered to people staying in U.P as per company policy” ( a clear discrimination of Indian citizens by state). Also if I combine product (ii) and (iii) they will not deliver as it is more than 10K ( conveyed over phone and not mentioned in the website) . I have to order 2nd and 3rd product separately thus SBI offer (10% cash back) cannot be availed as per the terms and conditions hence monitory loss and Sony phone cannot be ordered because I stay in U.P. Incidence no. – 131202-004354 raised (twice) at Flipcart customer care (18002089898)
1) Monetary Compensation 2) Ask the company to remove such policy ( I can understand if they don’t provide service at all, but they provide only services less than Rs. 10,000)probably to avoid taxes. 3) Clearly mention that service are provided in selected state of India 3) Website should be neat and clean and such discriminations should be mentioned upfront and not wasting customer’s time
