Flipkart – Prolonged delay in delivery

With reference to the order Flipkart id OD302809225200531000, I would like to let you know that the order was supposed to be delivered by 18th May 2015 but it has been delayed without any justified reason being stated to me and even without my consent. I raised a serious concern about this issue and the same was escalated, followed which I was informed that the same would be resolved by 21st May 2015. However, today I got a message saying that the issue would be resolved by 24th May 2015. Well, if the item does not reaches to me by 21st May 2015, I would be somewhat compelled to serious action against you. This is the second time that my order is being delayed without my concern and any prior notice or justification. I call the customer care but the executives decently ask me to compromise (and I have to do so as I have already handed over my old phone to you) and when I mail, they ask for apologies and ask me to bear with them. But there’s a limit to bearing and suffering because at the end, I am paying for the item. The item was ordered as a gift for birthday on 22nd May 2015 and you promise (not sure if it is again a fake one) to resolve it by 24th May 2015. What is the purpose of the gift then? Had you been in my place, would you accept such a gift which was ordered well before time but got delivered late due to retailer’s fault?
