My Mobile number is 98400-22948.
I have registered with the National “Do Not Call” registry since 2007, through my mobile service provider AIRTEL. In spite of that, I continue to get telemarketing calls regularly.

Recently I have been troubled by calls supposedly from ICICI Prudential.

On 24th Sept 2009, at 1:53pm I received a call from the telephone number
044-45928033, stating that they were calling from the Tambaram branch of ICICI Prudential (the lady’s name was Shalini, and her Manager’s name was Sathish) trying to explain to me about some short term investment product of ICICI Prudential to me.

I complained about this incident to my service provider AIRTEL the same day. I also sent a mail to donotcall@iciciprulife.com. They acknowledged the mail, said they have registered my number.

TOday (1st October) again, I have received a call this time from the number 044-64607104 (lady’s name was Easwari) stating that they were calling from the Perungudi branch of ICICI Prudential (this time I found out that the call was actually made by India Infoline, on behalf of ICICI) trying to explain to me about some short term investment product of ICICI Prudential to me.

Since neither the service provider AIRTEL or ICICI is doing anything about it, request that TRAI take stern action against such gross violation of DNC guidelines.
