As per Godrej company website, if any customer purchase edge pro refrigerator in between 25th Sept’14 and 31st Oct’14, he/she will be eligible to get a scratch card containing a 6 digit unique number that has to be sent to 808242xxx within 31st Oct evening. Then customer name will be entitled for a lucky draw of prizes of diamond jeweler. But despite buying the same refrigerator on 30th Oct’14, dealer didn’t provide me scratch card, rather informed me that there is no such offer from company right now. Even when I contacted company helpline, they assured that a person will call back to my number within 24hr. I also received one sms containing that person’s number. But didn’t receive any call. Eventually, on 31st Oct’14 offer expired. Not only me, this happened to all other customers who bought fridge from this dealer. This is cheating from both dealer and company. I want severe punishment for such malpractice.
I want severe punishment for both dealer and company for such fraud practices and cheating to customer. And also want compensation gift or prize amount in return from company/dealer end. I worry that each and every year they stored these scratch cards to themselves and loot these prizes. We customers can never know about these offers. Even company also didn’t advertise this offer to public. They only advertised about assured gifts but not about this scratch cards. In their website only one can find this offer. This is a serious example of cheating.
