I booked a ticket via www.goibibo.com on 1st October 2014 for a Go Air flight from Mumbai to Kolkata on 30th December 2014. The booking id is G80SYQT4. In the booking confirmation mail, it is communicated by Goibibo that- “You can change passenger names or alter itinerary details online, 24 hours a day Online changes save you money. Rs.250 per passenger on the administrative fee charged over the phone”. Please see the attached copy of the email and refer to the last paragraph. However, when I wanted to change the passenger name, they said it is not possible and I shall have to cancel the current booking and re book in which case normal cancellation charges would be applicable. Also the differential ticket fare would also be applicable. Even after repeated requests, they did not pay any heed. All I want is a change in the passenger name which, as per Goibibos confirmation mail, should not cost me more than INR 250. But Goibibo has refused to do so
I want a change in the passenger name- “Mrs Mukti Dhar” in place of “Wasiur Rahman Khuda Bukhsh”. As Goibibo suggested that this booking be cancelled and another ticket be re booked, it is certainly Goibibo’s responsibility to do so at their own cost, because they promised the service in booking confirmation mail for a charge of less than INR 250. I want -either Goibibo changes the passenger name -or books a fresh ticket with correct passenger names at their own cost.
