Had booked an airline ticket for 3 passengers for the 30th April from MUM – BLR vide Indigo Airline thru Make My trip on the 16th April, 2014.(Booking ID NF2202432230575 – PNR No.K84GUW) However, when I approached the airline counter at Mumbai terminal to board the MUM_BLR Indigo Flight 6E – 415 for check in, were informed that the PNR has been cancelled. Upon enquiring at the counter we were told that the passenger(me) had called the airline and cancelled my ticket and that the airline had airline call centre staff had verified the details before cancelling. I tried to convince them that if I had initiated a cancellation why would I then come to the airport to board my flight. The staff paid no heed to my logic reasoning and asked me to leave as all their flights were booked to capacity and they could not accommodate us. Upon questing them to prove that the cancellation they told they could not do it at that moment and told me send a mail to their customer service office who would do the needful. After following up with the airline and make my trip for 2 weeks over mail and telephonically was made to hear a telephonic conversation of the cancellation in which I verified that the speaker was not me and that this was a serious case of FRAUD and MISREPRESENTATION and that my details were forged by someone to cancel the tickets. This is a serious issue and should be investigated asap and with grave seriousness

As a result of this last minute cancellation had to book another ticket for the same MUM-BLR sector vide Jet Airways the next day noon for Rs 23649/- as this was the latest available flight Also, the refund that I got from the airline for my SO CALLED cancellation was after deducting the relevant charges for cancellation, which I had no option but to bear as there was no recourse available with me. This is a clear case of FRAUD and the criminals involved in this be it the airline or Make My trip should be punished severely.

I want the FULL refund(without charges portion deducted) for the cancellation to be made in full and I should also be paid the amount for Rs23469/- which I paid additionally for the tickets I booked with jet airways.
