I submitted my laptop to the service centre in Delhi for repair on 11-10-2013. Attached is the job sheet as ANNEXURE I. Even after assurance given by the service centre that the laptop would be repaired and returned to me within 07 working days, I am still not in possession of the laptop. (Machine S. No. 111 AE 649880). It is really sad on the part of HCL Authorised Service Centre, Karkardooma, New Delhi that they neither attended my calls nor they provided any satisfactory response on my visit to the service center twice. HCL Help desk Universal No. 18601800425 also has no update in this regard. Only fake assurances were given each time I approached the Help Desk for any update in this regard. I had a telephonic conversation with Vikash Das Gupta, Area manager dated- 23rd October, 2013 and 29th October, 2013 wherein he also assured me that in a day or two, the working laptop would be handed over to me. Unfortunately, the outcome of the conversation and repeated assurance resulted in the same. An email dated 29th October, 2013 in this regard was sent to him and hcltouch.dtlt@hcl.com as well, but no reply has been received till date. Attached is a copy of the email as ANNEXURE II. Being a regular working employee, this laptop issue hampers my day-to-day official as well as personal work and persistent following up for the same and getting no response increases my frustration and mental trauma. I am in anticipation of your earlier and proper response and necessary action. Recently I received an offer of 20% rebate on a new laptop as they state that the production of motherboard is terminated while my laptop needs a motherboard replacement. I don’t want this offer and I am seeking a refund.
With reference to call id- 8503457624 attended on 11-10-2013 by the customer care help desk no. 18601800425 in respect of repair of my laptop, which was submitted to the service centre, HCL Infosystems Ltd., Automation Network 110 V-4 Tower Karkardooma Dist. Center Delhi – 110092 on the same date. The grievances in anticipation of proper and timely redress al are enumerated below:- 1) Even after assurance given by the service centre that laptop would be repaired and returned to me within 07 working days, I am still in non-possession of the said laptop (Machine S. No. 111 AE 649880). 2) It is really sad on the part of HCL Authorised Service Centre, Karkardooma, New Delhi that they neither attend the call ( Phone no. -011-43601822 as provided by the Engineer, Sh. Shashikant Singh, of the service centre) nor provide any satisfactory response on my visit to the service centre twice. 3) HCL Help desk Universal No. 18601800425 also has no update in this regard. Only a fake assurance that after updation it would intimate the same is being offered by the Help Desk whenever approached/contacted but of no avail as I am still waiting(as if hoping against the hope!) for any updation in this regard. 4) My telephonic conversation with Vikash Das Gupta, Area manager, contact no.-08826009920, dated- 23rd October, 2013 at 1115 hrs and 29th October, 2013 at 1145 hrs. (for 05 mins. 32 seconds duration) may also be referred, in which he also assured me that in a day or two the working laptop would be handed over to me. Unfortunately, the outcome of the conversation and repeated assurance resulted the same. An email dated 29th October, 2013 in this regard sent to him and hcltouch.dtlt@hcl.com is also pertinent to mention but no reply has been received till date.
