I bought the HCL ME laptop on 16 Jan 2013 but after two months it’s webcam started to give problem and around at the end April it stopped working & then I registered a complaint. A Engineer came to my home and he replaced the webcam & wire but it still did not work.Now he is saying that your whole motherboard need to be replaced and then may be the windows will be formatted as well. Sir, mine is a new laptop and such kind of issue should not arise that it need to be opened up.It has already been opened up by the engineer three times. Sir, this is not a good business practice and this is totally unacceptable.I could have easily chosen HP or Dell but instead I chose HCL, an Indian company.So, please replace the laptop.

I missed possible employment opportunities due to this.I could have given some online interviews with potential employers but due to this shortcoming of webcam, I was deprived of this. At the same time, I must have wasted hours of time with the customer care at phone and engineer at my home which now can’t be paid for.

I just want my laptop replaced ASAP so that I do not miss any more opportunities of employment.
