I have not received the free gifts along with the laptop purchased for more than 1.5 years ago. I purchased ME Laptop named HCL ME ICON L 1024 A with serial no. 9111AE999192 on 30th September 2011 via online payment. I received that laptop but I didn’t get the free gifts along with that. I contacted the customer service centre and they kept on assuring that I would be receiving the gifts soon. Neither I received the gifts nor I got any response about the time it would take the gifts to be delivered. Below is the forwarded email inquiry about the same issue. “This is in reference with the communication with Mr. Santosh, Customer Service Executive at HCL (Reference No. : 16225523). I have not received free gifts along with the laptop that I purchased more than 1.5 years ago. It’s been so long that I have been waiting for the same. I have communicated a number of times with the company regarding this issue but I have never got response. I had purchased a laptop (HCL ME ICON L 1024 A), serial no. 9111AE999192 on 30th September 2011 but till now i have not received my free gifts. Since then i had been trying to bring into notice about the non-delivery but i have got no response. Secondly, kindly send the free gifts at my permanent address below: H.No.1691/8 Adampur Doaba, Jalandhar-144102 Punjab as the address registered at the time of purchase was a temporary address and not valid to me now. I again request you to please look into the matter and hope this time i surely be getting quick response.
Also, I would like to mention that during the time I purchased the ME Laptop following gifts were mentioned as free: • Additional 2 years “Return to bench” warranty* free worth Rs.2999. • A CD/DVD containing McAfee antivirus software & license for 3 years from date of Activation Worth Rs. 1999/- • EC2 Data recovery software free • Wiz pack Free* worth Rs.14102 • Tata Photon @ Rs.899 with 2 GB data free for 3 months* (actual cost @ Rs.1499) • One Altec Lancing speakers worth Rs. 1190 FREE with every online purchase of notebooks. I would request you to please interfere in this matter since I have been waiting for long. Kindly help in getting my free gifts mentioned above that I should have received at the time of purchase.
