Thank you for giving an opportunity to share my experience with HCL product and its service. I have an HCL laptop (Model – L75) which I submitted to HCL authorized service center named ‘Sonali Infonet’ on 15th June, 2013 because of auto-shutdown problem. Service center people said that the motherboard needs to be replaced and they sent a request to the HCL head office on 17th June, 2013 for a new motherboard. Still my laptop is there in HCL service center because of lack of hardware parts. I have been waiting for more than one month to get this computer repaired. I am really surprised and disappointed to see such branded computer is not getting repaired because of lack of hardware parts, whereas I have friends with different brands of laptops and their products are getting repaired within a couple of weeks. If HCL can continue to sale their products, how come they do not have their hardware parts available (for example: motherboard) at their part store for repairing HCL computers. It has come to my attention, that ‘After Sales Service’ of HCL is pathetic. I had more than 8-9 interactions with many customer care representatives of HCL department but every time I call them, they tried to avoid my calls by providing different excuses with no solution. Every time I received fake assurance/commitment from HCL customer care representatives. I was suggested to contact Mr. G.S Patthak, Miss. Jayati, and Mr. S. Goswami for further information. Only Mr. Pattahk talked to me and Mr. Patthak behaved same and didn’t provide proper resolution. They are reluctant to provide quality service to their customer. I am getting frustrated and I will think twice before purchasing any further HCL products. I have no more faith or trust in HCL product and service.

All I want, is a free replacement of a computer with better configuration or a full refund + compensation.
