I am using HDFC gold credit card (4346 7810 1201 6382) since april 11. I am smoothly using this card and also making timely payments to the bank. but from last 2 months i am financially not able to pay the bill on time and i missed the payment to be paid till 27 june 13 as it was my last date of paying the bill. Since 7 of july i started getting calls from HDFC bank regarding there payment . I requested them the time till july end because i was supposed to get some funds by end of july but they kept harassing me by calling 8 to 9 times a day. They kept pressurising me for the same. Then i lied that i’ll be paying it till 22nd of july and before that please don’t call me .As it was a lie they called me further on 23 july and someone who was senior overthere name mr. Sudhir started insulting me , misbehaving with me that dipressed me a lot because his way of talking was really very cheap and abusive. I never expected this kind of behaviour form a bank like HDFC. that guy even threatened me that he’ll send recovery team at my home and office. This was not easy for me to digest and i was feeling very insulted and harassed . Although i was not denying to pay i was just requesting for some time.
This incident mentally disturbed me a lot and i could even concentrate on my work for few days even i could not sleep well .
I am a salaried person and gets salary on every 7th of the month. i want that person and bank also to apologies to me for harassing me. if possible then also EMI option from bank , so that i could easily clear my outstanding.
