HDFC Credit Card Limit Modifications

I would like to share my experience about the Business Process in HDFC Bank Credit Cards division.

I had called for some query offered and the executive offered me a credit limit increase which i declined. However, that moron raised the limit against my wishes and has put a note saying “On customer request”.

I called the call centre again and told them i never requested and asked them to reduce it back to my original limit. The arrogant executive said that I need to give the “Request in Writing”. I asked, For raising, you didn’t take any written request and why written request for reducing ? He said, these are our rules [Stupid Business Rules, My Foot]

I knew these call centre morons will not solve my problem and I sent a FAX request to reduce and wrote a letter to the Asst Manager.

The manager appologized but is unwilling to correct the rules. Also I asked him to inquire that his call centre executive who has fraudulently our manipulated my account but no reply till date.

Guys, be careful on how these guys manipulate our account. Also don’t go for high credit card limits because we spend and later don’t have the money to pay back leading into credit trap.
