Dear Sir/Madam, I am Sharath Babu D.B and am a credit card holder in HDFC bank. Last year Nov 2013 I got a call from HDFC they want to sell ERGO health insurance policy. I asked to send me some information brouchre about the policy. They have told this plan is only for few credit card holders not to all and it has extra benefits. He said that , just you activate first then will send the brochure to you ,So after that you can check the policy document and you have 1 month time to Reject/Accept. Till that we will not deduct any amount from you they said. As he said i got information brochure about the policy what ever benefits he discussed over a call was not mention in the policy document.So i mailed them to cancel the policy and they accept & send the cancellation reference no also : HN02122013000098 . In December month credit card statement they are charged me 7080 Rupees for this plan and 330 Rupees for processing fee. After that i have called them , they told it will cancel. But still it is not cancelled .
I would request you cancel my policy and revert the transaction amount on Credit Card. Policy No : 51739639 & 51739640 Cancellation reference no: HN02122013000098 For actiavation they did in a single min . Why can’t they do same for cancellation.
