I purchased an Antonio Bernini wrist watch (King Marine – Model No. AB064) from, “Helios, The Watch Store” in Aundh Pune on 08th of December 2013. The sales package did not have the user manual. I called up the shop on the same day to inform them about this and was told that they would have to get the user manual from the brand office in Mumbai. The very next day (09th December), I noticed that the glass on the watch near the six o’clock mark was chipped. I informed the watch store about this. Since the sales person who had sold me the watch was on leave the next day, I was asked to visit the store with the watch on the 11th of December. On visiting the store, I was told that the watch was damaged after I took possession of it. I was told by the assistant sales manager that Helios would neither replace nor refund the amount for the watch. The assistant sales manager has offered to repair the watch but at my expense.
The first option would be give me a fresh piece of the same model of the watch. The second option would be to refund the entire amount for the watch as I no longer wish to deal with Helios.
