I had purchased a laptop for my daughter on 13-12-2012. A defective laptop was supplied to me, but to my great misfortune, it was recognized when she used LAN port for the first time and she found that the internet connection broke continuously. She contacted the HP customer care for about 10 days and expected the laptop to be replaced with a new piece. Since many of my friends suggested me that I should not allow the company representatives to open the laptop as this will lead to continuous problems in other parts of the same. But the company was not agreeable to replace the defective Laptop at all. The HP executives explained that there will not be any issue in future. The engineers visited my residence 10-15 times, 2-3 hours each day and vigorously persuaded her to get the mother board of the Laptop changed with the assurance that there will be no problem in the Laptop in future.And I trusted the company having a reputed brand more than my friends. But I believe that my friends were right, as I continuously faced problem after this. Now, since 2 months, my laptop is not even starting. When I complained, their engineer visited and diagnosed a problem with its OS, which was proved to be a mere hit and trial diagnosis on my further complaints, when another engineer from HP examined and said that its Hard disk is defective. It seems that HP engineers are just trying to make us. Now, almost 1 month is passed and the problem still persists.
I want the defective Laptop to be replaced with a new one or refund of my money along with compensation for losses.
