Hindu College – College Fee Withdrawal problem

I enrolled (19.07.13) with Hindu College for its “Add-on Programme in Actuarial Sciences” Proposed Course Commencement: 29 July, 2013 Proposed Duration: 10-12 weeks Course fee: INR 7,500 (lump sum) Since the ACET exam (actuariesindia.org) for which this course coaches is on 6.12.2013, the latest the course could be delayed was by a month. The college, however, failed to commence the programme. Finally, on 12.09.2013, I submitted an application for refund of money in full.

My repeated written and oral correspondence for redressal has been rejected by the college. If one were to understand the college’s argument, it justifies the unscrupulous business of collection of monies on pretext of services, and their eventual forfeiture, in part at least. Now I request CORE to help me secure justice. Please, help me get a refund of nothing less than INR 7,500.
