On 10th of Dec, 2012, I ordered a Mobile Ph. On HomeShop18.com Karbonn A15, Price Rs. 5899 and given of 25% for online transaction, after discounting the price was Rs. 4425 and delivery period were mentioned 6-7 days. I paid the same through my HDFC Bank Credit Card, payment option 3 EMIs of HDFC Bank Credit Card (FT No:- 234589950382). My billing date is 15th of every month so I paid first installment for Dec. of Rs. 1475. After 5-6 days of order they send me a sms of delay in delivery and it will take more 5-6 working days. On 19th of Dec, 12 I received shipment SMS through Aramex and AWB No: 4687064082. I checked it online on 21.12.12 the status was Delivery Rescheduled – New Delivery Address – Sale ax Mobile Team raided Airport office & seized 19 bags. On 23.12.12 I received a call from Ph. No: 01206679850 but I can’t say the name coz I was in a bus, she told me that the product has been return back to them and I have to call HomeShope18 and place a new order, I called HomeShop18 they said that no need to place new order and it will deliver shortly and he was quite confident about delivery. I also lodge an online compliant Ticket #7768524 and communicated so many times, till 4th of Jan, 13 they keep said that it will deliver. On 4th of Jan,13 they called and said that product has been return back to them due to some issue within his supplier Softek Surya (India) Pvt. Ltd. & courier Aramex, so we are cancelling this order and full amount will be refunded to my credit card A/c. I again called them and requested that, if product has been return back than resend the it, they said that it is out of stock and unable to send, when I asked about what about my discount, they said if this product available than I have to pay full amount Rs. 5899 and discount will not given.
In this whole transaction conversation I felt someone cheated me, and sold an already sold product to higher price. Some questions arising… 1) I ordered to HomeShop18, why I should bear the loss for problem between Softek Surya (India) Pvt. Ltd. And Aramex. 2) When product returned back to HomeShop18 than, how is it possible to out of stock? Its mean they sold my ordered product to any other customer at full price without discount and if it is true than it is not fair business. 3) How any one cancelled any order forcefully, where I paid full money to them? Order should be deliver first come first basis if on price basis than it should be mention in order and price basis’s question not arising here because they already shipped my order. 4) I paid my first EMI to Rs. 1475, and if refund money not reflected before 15th of Jan, than I have to paid again the 2nd EMI but in practical I haven’t got any product, so who will bear this loss because I have to purchase through Credit Card to liquidate my money otherwise it will remain credit to my credit card A/c. nothing I will get on that credit balance. So here no value for my money to them but his profit matters for them.
