I bought Honda Activa from Pashankar Auto Pvt Ltd, 364,365/2, Jangli Maharaj Road, Near Standard Chartered Bank, Shivaji Nagar, Pune-411005- booked on 4th Jan 2014, and vehicle delivered on 9th Jan 2014. First problem incurred on 16th Jan was related to Horn in my newly bought Honda Activa. The horn of the Activa sounded cranky while driving. It was followed by as I had to kick-start Activa everytime because it never started through self-start button.After chasing service station & Mr Kedar Kulkarni continuously, atlast they changed the horn, when I visited Pashankar Auto on 18th Jan 2014 to collect my registration number Another Incident happened on 24th Jan, 2014, at 9:30pm-my Activa stopped on signal near Central Mall, Shivaji nagar and I had to kick it for 15 min to get it started. Even then it did not start and I had to call Autorickshaw driver to kick start it at such an odd hour of time. For full week, I used to kick start Activa and drive it 20km/day to maintain minimum distance driving. As told by Mr Kedar Kulkarni, On 1st Feb,2014 I took Activa to Rahul Auto services, near Croma showroom, Sanewadi, Aundh, Pune, authorised service centre by Honda. I took the delivery of Activa at 6:30pm same day and while returning stopped at petrol pump where again it started creating starting problem and I had to kick start it. I immediately called up Mr Vinayak and told him the same. He told me to bring the Activa to service station next day and said that he will get the battery replaced. I took Activa on 2nd Feb 2014, again but he told he doesn’t have standby battery and told me to come another day. I took my Activa to service station again on 8th Feb 2014. Finally they fixed the vehicle with standby battery and I was told to come after 15 days , to get new battery. While returning, it again created problem in starting through self-start button. I called up Mr Vinayak on 9th Feb 2014, but he told that he is not in the Service centre and that I should bring Activa on 10th Feb 2014. On 10th Feb 2014, I took Activa to my Office, where once stopped, it didn’t start even after kicking several times. There was fuel leakage as well. Finally in evening I had to bring my Activa in transport auto to my home. I called up Mr Vinayak in Rahul auto services, but he didn’t pick my phone.On 11th Feb 2014, I finally reported my grievances to Mr Vishal Gosavi (Sales Manager), with all details, and requested him to replace with new Activa. To this I was told that my Activa will be picked up from home the next morning and will be shown to Engineers from Honda. My vehicle was taken away on 12th Feb 2014 and since then i don’t have any vehicle and it has become a problem for me to commute.
Since 12th Feb 2014, I donot have Activa with me, which I bought from my hard earned money. I am commuting through public transport which again is making a hole in my pocket. Activa costed me around Rs61000 and it is my hard earned money, I request to take immediate action & either return my money or replace this Activa with a new Activa.
