This is regarding my car Honda Brio (model SMT) which was parked at night near my residence area. In morning at around 10:30am, suddenly there was a blast and few people immedaitely noticed that it was from my car with the hatch back backdoor glass completely shattered. I had logged a complaint with Honda customer care same day i.e. 31st Dec’12 and they promised to take action within 24 hours. However still today, they have taken no action and saying samething that they will revert in 24 hours after coordinating with seniors. I do not understand when their 24 hours are going to complete. I am afraid that since the reason is unknown, this incident can reoccur at any time and may cause harm to my family members or to any one else. I am pretty sure no one has done this manually, and it happened automatically and people were there immedately noticed when this happend.
The glass pieces were shattered inside the car (all over the back seat and luggage area) and outside the car. The pieces were so small that the Hallmark honda workshop couldnt remove them completly and they were still there on back seat.
I have paid full amount for new backdoor glass as I dont want to claim it via insurance, Because the car is still new and not yet completed 6 months 1)I want full amount refunded 2)Need to know reason why this happened 3)Assurance that this wont happen again.
