I own a Honda City with Registration No. DL-3CCG 1228 since 2015. I am covered under “Honda Extended Warranty” and “Honda Road Side Assistance Service”. I haven’t taken any claims so far. On 19th March’ 2019, My car broke down. The key stopped turning inside the Ignition Socket. I was stuck up in Gurgaon around 40 km away from my home in Delhi. I called up the Honda Road side Assistance for the support around 4.30 pm in the evening. After lot of confusion that what needs to be done, a technician from “Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon” arrived around 6.00 pm. They told that a part i.e. the Steering Lock Set is faulty and needs to be replaced. They temporarily started the car and told me to drive the car to their workshop. (They didn’t do it themselves, which they should). I finally got free by 7.15 pm from their workshop, took a cab and reached home. (They didn’t organized any drop which they should). Next day morning, I got a call from the service center (Mr. Rajesh Rawat ) that the needed part is NOT AVAILABLE with them and it will take 3-5 days for the same. I requested them to drop my car home or to some Delhi service center which has this part with them. They simply refused to drop the car. (Although they always offer Pick and Drop of your Car when it’s a Paid Service). The Road-side Assistance department also stayed away from this citing that their job is over. Now, there is no answer whom to approach? After all, Its Honda “The Company” who is responsible to provide me the solution. I found some people on the Internet. And the Honda dealership in Gurgaon “Ring Road Honda”, the TRULY UNPROFESSIONAL GREEDY BUGGERS took the car to their workshop so that they get the money for the job without even confirming that whether they have the required spares or not. And after that, simply REFUSED to drop the car at my place or any dealership. Till now, I was a HONDA fan but now that I have experienced the HONDA SERVICE QUALITY (for which Ring Road Honda, Gurgaon is responsible), I will definitely make sure that me, my family, extended family or my friends, NO ONE BUYS A HONDA CAR IN FUTURE.
